The Fall of Sauron

On March 25, 3019 of the Third Age, the One Ring was cast into the fires of Mount Doom, bringing about the ultimate defeat of Sauron. His tower, Barad-dûr, crumbled, and his armies scattered. This marked the end of the War of the Ring and the dawn of a new era.

The Aftermath

With Sauron's fall, the Age of Men began. The kingdoms of Gondor and Arnor were restored, and the Elves prepared to sail west. The scars of war remained, but peace had returned to Middle-earth.
